I am a huge pet fan for my childhood, but my first dog moved to us when I was 10. Lola was a puppy from my grandmum’s kennel, she was a little black fur dumpling. Both my brother and I had learnt a lot from her, we grew up together. We did not go to dog shows, because Lola was an old type cocker, not the fashionable little one. She had two beautiful litters with gold, black and black-and-tan pups. After a long prayer my pernts let me to keep Betty. She was a real bed girl, so after our experience we decided to spray her.

Lola lived 13 and half year in our home, her die was a very big trouble in our family. Betty is a little bit old now, but happily living in my parent’s home.

The border collie:

We used to go for a few dog shows with my husband. At first we only looked around, because we knew that we would like an own dog and we would like to find the best breed for us.

We knew the border collie from the television, but unfortunately we could not meet any for a long time. The wonder happened in Pápa. We still did not know whose dog it was, whom we saw on Pápa CACIB show on the spring in 2005. A little girl-maybe 4 years old-played with a border. The dog  took an eye both on the girl and the ball. It was so careful and attentive, that we were enslaved by the breed. From this moment we started to know everything about the border collies.

For a long time we only saw black-white collies, but we found new colours almost every day. So we decided that we would like an especial  dog. We talked with a lot of breeders to learn more, when we find Wendigo’s Wind Kennel. 9 little merle, black-white and tricolour pups was seen on the picture, and both the mum: Jessie- Japanese Gril at Real Pearl and the dad: York- Big Boss of Forestry Farm was real beautiful. We got the contact with Monika Nemeth- we learnt at the same university at time-and planned a meeting with her and her dogs. She shown as what a border collie can, for what they are able to, so we knew that this is the breed what we want.

Cannabis Sativa at Wendigo’s Wind ,,Mira’’ arrived us on 31. March 2006. Since then our life is go around her.

When Mira was starting to grow up, we dicided to have a friend for her, who holds on every dog shows and comes from a different line. We hoped thata abeautiful blue boy will bore, because we are the fan of this colour.

Our dreams come true earlier than we expected. Our favourite kennel is Clan Abby in New Zealand, so we would have liked a puppy from there. The distance and our purse defined our dreams. Luckily a beautiful re-mating litter was born in Carolyns-home Kennel in Germany. We were in touch with Carolyn from a long time. This was a repeat mating of Clan Abby NZ Carolyns Dylan and Clan Abby I'm A Tartan Girl. We are very happy, because we succeed to get a clean New Zealandian/Australian line puppy here in Europe. The dogs from the first litter win on several times and dog shows, they are truly real border collies both in temperament and reputation.

Blatt is a big blue bear, you can see him on a several dog shows this year, but truly he will compete in 2008. We are looking forward to his results!

Our plans for the future are to find a dog for Mira, who is from a prominent blood line. From this litter we would like to keep a bitch. We like the colour border collies, so we would like to establish new and rare colours in Hungary. Naturally we really care for having the genetic tests for our dogs.
